Birthday Funday (for Respect Chesterton)
The event was to celebrate the Queen's 90th birthday, taking place on the Vicarage Lawns in Chesterton, Newcastle. A small group from the band provided music for the opening ceremony, and in the event following, including the National Anthem and Happy Birthday. It was a great oppurtunity to visit a traditional summer fete, with face painting, BBQ, stalls, fancy dress competition and a dog show. Other than one light shower, even the weather just about managed to hold out!
